General Insurance

Insurance other than ‘Life Insurance’ falls under the category of General Insurance. General Insurance comprises of insurance of property against fire, burglary etc, personal insurance such as Accident and Health Insurance, and liability insurance which covers legal liabilities. There are also other covers such as Errors and Omissions insurance for professionals, credit insurance etc.

New India Assurance Co. Ltd our tie up partner has products that cover property against Fire and allied perils, flood storm and inundation, earthquake and so on. There are products that cover property against burglary, theft etc. New India Assurance Co. Ltd also offers policies covering machinery against breakdown, policies that cover the hull of ships and Marine Cargo policy covers goods in transit including by sea, air and road. Further, insurance of motor vehicles against damages and theft forms a major chunk of non-life insurance business.

Health Insurance

General Health insurance:- We offer Health Insurance plans in tie up with one of India’s leading Health Insurance providers – IFFCO Tokio and Sriram insurance company. Yashaswini Health Scheme:- Yashaswini arogya yojane sponsored by government of Karnataka specially for the category of poor and their dependents.This facility now available at all our branches.

Eligibility Criteria

• Facility provided for all age groups.
• He should be a member of our bank from past 3 months.
• He should not be a beneficiary of any other insurance.
• He should not be a government official.

Scheme Details

• This facility provided for member and his family.
• This facilty is applicable for the operations mentioned under yashaswini yojana trust.
• Applicant should provide 2 photos of himself and depependents.
• Applicants membership identity card.
• If applicants comes under category visa vis SC/ST should provide caste certificate to avail fee concession.

Fee Structure:

General-Rs 710 per indidual person if more than five members 15% discount available.

SC/ST 110 per individual person if more than five members 15% discount available.
